Problem with themes
I downloaded a random theme for Spaz that was likely for the version from a year ago, but I applied it anyway and now Spaz looks all screwed up. I tried to uninstall and reinstall, but the changes are being kept anyway. What do I need to do in order to return Spaz to the default look without it being screwed up? I'm using Spaz in Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala.

I would blow away your prefs file. In the newest version of spaz, you
should be able to hit CTRL+, to open the folder that contains
preferences.json.

If CTRL+ didn't do anything that I could see. I looked into the Spaz folders and noticed there wasn't any file with the same name as you mentioned, but rather one named spaz.prefs.js in /opt/Spaz/share/app/models. I copied the current one elsewhere and then saved a completely blank one and when I started it up then Spaz showed to be running, but obviously nothing seemed to show up. I have since copied the screwed up one back so it at least shows up again. Perhaps if someone just posted the text of the original default spaz.prefs.js here I could see if that would work.

yes, that is some of the main app code. You will need to delete and
re-install the application.
You should delete the preferences.json file. It's on your machine; I
think I told you the wrong keystroke. It should be CTRL+SHIFT+, on
Linux. If that doesn't open the folder with your preferences, you'll
need to poke around your machine for it.

Not sure but did he maybe miss the comma, or interpret it as punctuation instead of as a key that needed to be pressed.
