Removing twitter detritus from Spaz
Hi,
I'm trying to use Spaz Special Edition 2.0.9 to transition to identi.Ca. I had my twitter account set up already & added and logged into my identi.Ca account.
I tried to use search to find / add users. The first one, of course, was you. Found @Spaz & went to add & you we're already added (from twitter?). Thinking my twitter account was interfering, I deleted the twitter account with the same results.
I restarted Spaz, confirmed that only my identi.Ca account was installed & logged into. Strange thing - when I restarted Spaz, my twitter timeline appeared & updated even though the twitter account has been deleted from Spaz.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Panagiotis Govotsos

Clear your cache - it's possible that the messages ended up in the wrong cache bucket.

On Special Edition 2.0.9 I had to uninstall it, reinstall, add ONLY identi.Ca account & it was fine.
On Spaz Beta 2.0.10 I deleted all my twitter accounts, added my identi.Ca account, tapped on identi.Ca account & it refreshed the timeline - only showing identi.Ca msgs and no twitter msgs. I DID NOT clear the cache, restart app, or uninstall/reinstall. Just installed 2.0.10 over 2.0.9, removed twitter accounts, added identi.Ca account, go to timeline and everything worked as expected.
Don't know what the difference between Spaz SpEd 2.0.9 and Spaz Beta 2.0.10, but they seem to handle the same circumstances differently.
Any ideas or something I can check?

No. Honestly I think you ran into a weird glitch, because I've run multiple accounts on both services for at least a year without issue. No changes between 2.0.9 and 2.0.10 that would impact that.

OK. Like I said, the issue was resolved with an uninstall / reinstall. As things stand now, all 3 versions are behaving as expected.
