The dialog seen in the attachment keeps popping up every 1.5 to 2 minutes. (I'm not the person who tweeted about this -- I started trying to figure this out before I knew anyone else even had the problem.)

I'm using the latest Desktop version on the latest version of Air, on Windows 2003.

I thought it might be related to a tweet that appeared since last night, so I filtered out all tweets by adding a filter in user.js for every client that appeared. Of course, I don't know if that keeps Spaz from trying to get pictures and/or expand shortened URLs. The login dialog still appeared with only one DM that I'd sent in my timeline. So I deleted that DM, and the dialog still appeared.

I suppose I could create a new twitter account, following nobody, and see if the dialog still appears.

Sorry, this should be in the Desktop section. I thought I was posting it there...

And of course as soon as I report it, it stops happening.

Maybe something weird was going on with Twitter.

Whatever it was, I wouldn't be able to test any solution now.

It could be a Twitter API problem. I am asking the Desktop devs to take a look at your question though. Thanks.

I know Twitter has been changing some streaming stuff today. I'd chalk it up to that for now. if it persists, though, let us know.

twitter is reporting issues with "userstream". This appears to be a
transient issue and reliability is back at 100%.
