Allow posting to Posterous without tweeting (pseudo-posterous app)

Under the current credential verification process that Spaz uses, tweeting using Posterous checks to see if the Twitter username is linked to a Posterous account and then posts the image to it. Afterwards, (it is my belief) Posterous tweets the image and NOT Spaz. Either way, the problem I am presented with is that having my Tumblr account linked to Posterous also makes it post that image to it, too. Well, by also having Tumblr tweet my posts, I get double tweets of the same thing. What I would like and propose is that make it so when I use Spaz to tweet an image (using Posterous) make it so the image is just accepted into Posterous, but not tweeted. THEN Posterous can post to Tumblr, which would in turn tweet (just once).
