auto check/refresh *only* while program is open

I know we have the option to have Spaz auto-check for new tweets on a certain interval. However, I only want that while I have the program open (don't like background checking and notifications). It'd be nice to have an additional optin in the prefs to constrain the auto-check to only while program is open.

   yeah, that's actually the only way it used to refresh. it's a
   reasonable request.

   FYI, my bandwidth is pretty limited for the next 6 weeks, so it may be
   that none of this even gets looked at for a while. Obv the code is on
   github if you're motivated.
