Getting Spaz running under XFCE

User Marvin Preuss writes:

SPAZ dont want to start when you run something else then KDE or GNOME. This works for me on XUBUNTU Jaunty:

create a wrapper script in the /opt/Spaz/bin directory called Spaz-wrap:

 #!/bin/bash
 export GNOME_DESKTOP_SESSION_ID="XFCE"
 /opt/Spaz/bin/Spaz

no problems so far with it. i can even create an icon on my desk forthat one.
